Terms of Use

Last updated: 29 July 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Revision, the online study platform at revision.inventait.com (the "Service"), operated by [Company Name] Limited, a company registered in [England and Wales] under company number [00000000], whose registered office is at [registered address] ("we", "us", "the Company").

By creating an account or subscribing to the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree to them, please don't use the Service.

1. What the Service is

Revision provides subscription access to digital exam-revision study material — practice questions, explanations, drills, mock exams and related content — for professional and vocational qualifications. Our first available paper is AAT Level 4 Applied Management Accounting (AMAC); further subjects and papers are added over time.

The Service is a study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of AAT or any other awarding body, and completing it is not a guarantee of exam success.

2. Accounts

  • You need an account to use the Service. Accounts are created and accessed using a one-time sign-in link sent to your email address — there is no password to set or remember.
  • You're responsible for keeping access to your own email account secure, since that is what controls sign-in to your Revision account.
  • One account is for one person's individual use. Accounts, logins and subscriptions may not be shared, sold, or transferred to anyone else.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to hold an account. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian is aware of and consents to your use of the Service.

3. Subscriptions and billing

  • Access to each paper is provided on a recurring monthly subscription basis, billed in advance and processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details.
  • Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account dashboard ("Manage subscription"), which takes you to Stripe's own secure billing portal.
  • Cancelling stops future billing. It does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period — see our Refund Policy for full details, including an important note about your statutory cancellation rights.
  • We may change subscription prices from time to time. We'll give you reasonable notice before any change takes effect for your next billing period; continuing to use the Service after a price change takes effect means you accept the new price.

4. Acceptable use

The content on Revision — including every question, explanation, mock exam and the underlying software that generates them — is our intellectual property, or licensed to us, and is protected by copyright. In using the Service you agree not to:

  • copy, scrape, download in bulk, redistribute, resell, or publish any part of the content, whether or not for payment;
  • share your account or subscription access with anyone else;
  • attempt to circumvent, probe, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service's access controls or content-protection measures;
  • use any automated means (bots, scripts, scrapers) to access the Service;
  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches this section, without refund of any amount already paid.

5. Intellectual property

All content, trademarks, branding and software making up the Service are owned by [Company Name] Limited or our licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership of that material to you — subscribing only grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to view and use it for your own study, for as long as your subscription is active.

6. No guarantee of exam results

We take real care over the accuracy and quality of our material, but the Service is a revision aid, not a guarantee of passing any exam or qualification. Your results depend on many factors outside our control. We're not liable for exam outcomes.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but don't guarantee uninterrupted access — we may need to suspend it for maintenance, or it may be affected by matters outside our reasonable control. We'll try to give notice of any planned downtime that's likely to be significant.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service, or for exam results. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for anything that can't lawfully be limited, including death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud.

9. Ending your account

You can stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, or at our discretion with reasonable notice where there's no breach.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example as the Service changes or to reflect legal requirements. We'll post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date, and where a change is material we'll make reasonable efforts to notify you directly.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [England and Wales], and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [England and Wales]. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK or EU, mandatory local consumer protections you're entitled to still apply.

12. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent to [support@inventait.com].
